Baseball Takes Two from Imperial Valley

Compton, Calif. - The Compton baseball team (4-8) took two decisions from Imperial Valley, 6-0 and 10-6, on Thursday evening.
Freshmen Danny Hernandez and Andy Rosales both earned wins. Hernandez improves to 1-0, while Rosales is now 1-1. Hernandez made his second-straight hitless appearance, throwing 2.1 innings and fanning a pair.
Freshman Julian Rodriguez-Guevara went 3-for-5 on the day with three runs and a double. Sophomore Alexandro Rodriguez backed him up with a 2-for-5 performance with two runs and two RBI.
The Tartars remain home to host Saddleback on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m.
