Ibarra, Evans, Ross Jr. Honored On All-SCC South Men's Basketball Team

Compton College sophomores Nathan Ibarra and Elijah Evans each were chosen as part of the elite 11-player, 2025-26 All-South Coast Conference South Division Men's Basketball Team.

Freshman Keishawn Ross Jr. received an All-SCC honorable mention nod. 

Ibarra and Evans were both members of last season's SCC co-champion Compton team as freshmen and were integral parts of this season's squad. 

Ibarra averaged 12 points, 2.9 assists and his brilliant 93.2 free throw percentage (69-for-74 shots) was second in the state. 

Evans carried 11.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists averages.

Ross averaged 10.5 points and led the team in rebounding at 5.5 per contest. All three Coyotes were at the guard position. 

Compton finished in third place in the SCC South (5-5) and were 13-15 overall.
