Compton, Calif. - The Compton men's soccer team battled to a scoreless tie on Friday afternoon with Cerritos on Sophomore Day.
Sophomore Larry Sanchez recorded three saves on six total shots by the Falcons. Four Tartars tallied a pair of shots each with sophomores Ivan Vasquez and Jose Albizar and freshman Jose Pina each attempting a shot on goal. Overall, the team outshot Cerritos 9-6.
The men's soccer team (12-5-2, 4-2-1) completes its final regular season week beginning with a match at El Camino on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m.
