Coyotes Men's Soccer Place 4 On All-SCC South Division Squad
Compton College had four players chosen to the 2025 All-South Coast Conference Men's Soccer Team including sophomore goalie Alessandro Martinez making the squad for the second time in his two seasons.
Martinez was credited with 132 saves in his two years and his solid play resulted in being named to the South Division First Team after a Second Team choice in 2024.
Maybe the team's best field player was sophomore defender Jovanny Lopez-Sotelo, who controlled the Coyotes territory as a key player defending in front of Compton's goalies. Lopez-Sotelo was the team's other First Team selection.
Geovani Camacho, a sophomore as well, was Compton's top offensive player as the forward scored four goals in being chosen to the South Second Team. Frosh forward Edwin Marcial completed the team's All-SCC honors, making the Second Team.
